Fellowship – Discipleship – Outreach

Statement of Faith

• We Believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He always was, is, and will be unchanging and perfect. He created everything that was ever created.

• We believe that God created man to have a close loving relationship with Him, but that man sinned breaking that relationship, causing separation.

• We believe that if man dies without that relationship being restored, he must be forever separated from God, in a literal place of torment being judged for his sin.

• We believe that sin prevents man from ever being able to have a relationship with God and that man is totally helpless to correct the separation caused by his sin.

• We believe God provided the only way for the relationship to be restored by sending His son Jesus to die satisfying the judgment required by sin.

• We believe Jesus, being fully God, was born a man without sin, and lived His life never sinning. As a free gift to man He allowed himself to be executed, His blood satisfying the judgment required for man’s sin.

• We believe we can accept or reject this free gift God provided. Rejection requires us to face judgment for our sin,but acceptance allows God to consider the judgment for our sin satisfied.

• We believe that three days after His death Jesus rose from the dead and is now in heaven preparing a place for anyone who has believed in Him.

• We believe when the judgment is satisfied we are saved from our sin but we still live in a sinful world. God sends the Holy Spirit to live within us, helping us to develop an ever closer relationship with Him, giving us power to make a difference in the world.

• We believe that when the right time comes, Jesus will return to judge each person. Those who have believed in Jesus for salvation will have their names in the Book of Life and will spend eternity in heaven. Those who have not believed in Jesus for salvation will be judged by their actions and must spend eternity in Hell.
